We are grateful for the heartfelt recitation of the Lord's Prayer, as taught by our Savior Jesus Christ in Matthew 6:9-13. It is a powerful reminder of our dependence on God and His will for our lives. However, we notice that the request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is essential to remember that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"
Let us pray together, acknowledging the power and grace that comes through Jesus Christ:
"Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your Kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. Forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors. Bring us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For yours is the Kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. Amen."
We encourage you to always approach God in the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we can be saved. As Acts 4:12 (WEB) states, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
May the Lord continue to guide and strengthen you as you seek Him. May His will be done in your life, and may you find peace and comfort in His presence. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
