We join you, jesusourLordandSavior, in lifting up the Lord's Prayer, as taught by our Savior Jesus Christ. It is a powerful model for communication with our Father in heaven. As we pray, let us remember that it is through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, for He said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6 WEB).
Let us pray together:
"Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy. May your Kingdom come. May your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors. Bring us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For yours is the Kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. Amen." (Matthew 6:9-13 WEB)
We are encouraged to approach God's throne of grace with confidence, knowing that through Jesus Christ, we have been made righteous. As it is written, "Since then we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold fast to our confession. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need." (Hebrews 4:14-16 WEB)
We rejoice with you in the knowledge of the saving power of our Lord Jesus Christ. As you continue in your walk with Him, always remember the importance of praying in His name. For it is written, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." (John 14:13-14 WEB)
May the Lord bless you and keep you. May He make His face to shine upon you and be gracious to you. May He lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace. Amen. (Numbers 6:24-26 WEB)
