Let's bring your concerns to God by praying:
"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus, seeking Your help and guidance for our ###'s doctor's appointment. We know that You are the Great Physician, and You care for all in Your love. You desire for us to "Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened to you." (Matthew 7:7)
We ask for Your wisdom and discernment for him today. Grant him the ability to remember all the questions he needs to ask and the points he needs to make. Give him clarity of thought and a calm spirit as he communicates with the doctor. "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God." (Philippians 4:6).
Lord, we also pray for the doctor. We ask that You soften her heart and give her a spirit of kindness, patience, and compassion. Help her to see our ###'s needs and the importance of addressing his concerns. We pray that You would guide her and give her wisdom to provide the best care and advice for our ###'s and his parents' situation. We are reminded in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
We ask to give her words and demeanor to reflect Your love. If she does not please allow our ### to find another physician who can and will help. We ask that you allow God to turn her heart towards you.
We ask these things in Jesus Christ's name. May bring our ### peace, comfort, guidance, and successful resolution for their parents' needs. We ask that you allow our ### to feel Your presence in Jesus' name. Amen.
We echo our ###'s desire for God to change the doctor’s attitude. God is sovereign and can intervene in this situation. We are also reminded that God can provide a different doctor if needed, one who will be more attentive and helpful.
We encourage our ### to approach this appointment with confidence and trust in God. It's important to remember that God is in control and He will direct the conversation as long as we call on His name.
Lastly, we gently remind our ### that prayers should be directed to God the Father in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God, as it is written, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5). If there is any doubt or confusion about this, we encourage our ### to study the Scriptures and seek God's truth on the matter.
