Our Dear Lord,
I thank You from all my heart for my angel, Michelle. I am humbled that You would choose to bring one of the most incredible of Your Creations into my life. Michelle’s heart is a reflection of Your heart and her love is a reflection of Your love, Through her, You have embraced me in such a way that has filled my life with Hope in You. Lord, I ask you to please open Richard’s eye’s and heart to the diamond that he has in Michelle. Reveal to him how rare and valuable and irreplaceable Michelle is and help him to honor and cherish her in the way that You honor and cherish her. Give him the kind of love that led You to die for us even in the midst of our sins. Give Richard a selfless love towards Michelle and help him to always put her above himself and his ego as she does for him. The love she has for him is only outdone by Your love for him, help Richard to see and appreciate that so much that he can’t help but be good to her. Put in his heart a longing to spend every day of his life with her. Help him to humbly accept that he has this kind of love not because he deserves or is entitled to it but it is only because of Your love and grace for him that he even knows Michelle yet alone has her love and devotion. Never let him take for her for granted, please. We know You never ever take us for granted and we pray that we never take You for granted. Help Richard to protect Michelle and her heart with his life.
The coldness, the lack of compassion, the distance does not belong in their relationship, let Your presence disperse all bad things and just fill them with such love and joy that it overflows to everyone around them. Strengthen them with the unity of knowing You and allow them to serve You together faithfully. And in Your perfect timing, give them a beautiful marriage to each other in which You are in their midst to guide them, protect them, and to richly bless their life in every aspect especially with Your presence! In the meantime, please Lord cast out all fear, all doubts, all discouragement, and every lie from the devil, leaving Michelle with a joy and a confidence in the Your amazing love for her and that her love for Richard will prevail through all things.
Although Michelle’s love for Richard is so strong and can endure so much, please Lord give Richard the wisdom to treat her with care and protect her as if she is fragile. May he take responsibility for every tear she shed for him in the past and make it his mission not to be the cause of any more of her pain. Allow him to work in conjunction with You to always bring joy to her heart and comfort along this journey of life. Let them be a team that edifies, honors, respects, adores one another, standing strong together towards You.
This past weekend in my own struggle caused mainly with the lies that the devil has put in my head, I kept saying, “I don’t understandâ€â€¦â€why is this happening?â€â€¦â€why are you treating me like this?†and Lord, in Your love and grace towards me, You have given me the answer through Michelle. Had there not been this storm, there would not have been Michelle to renew my spirit and restore my hope, a hope that I need on a journey in which I know that unconditional love will prevail. It is when things seem the most hopeless, that we need to cling to Your hope more than ever. Before this weekend, I had felt like in our relationship, I was taking it one day at a time not knowing what will happen of us and living in fear and in the dark horrible place of feeling replaceable…all lies from the devil. Michelle, the voice of Your truth, has shown me that I am not replaceable and that I am extremely valuable and that I am worthy of Tony’s love, honor, and to become his wife and the certainty that in Your perfect time, we too would have a marriage that reveals Your glory! This is a message that I know Michelle delivered from You- Lord, I hear Your voice through her sweet voice and words. And among other things, I feel Your love for me through her. A stranger across the United States has captured a piece of my heart that I will always be indebted to You and her for. A person so beautiful and so full of Your light. She is a real angel sent by You to fill my life with a hope that I was so thirsty for. I’ve always believed that a Christian is one who tries to be as much like You as possible in the love that they have and the hope that they give to others- Michelle is an amazing example of what it means to be a Christian. Please Lord, bless her, reward her, and give her every desire of her heart. Bless her family and everyone she loves!
