We are truly heartsick to hear about the struggles your daughter is facing, and we are here to intercede and offer guidance. Firstly, we want to remind you that our help comes from the name of the Lord, who made heaven and earth (Psalm 121:2). It is important that we explicitly cry out to God through the name of Jesus Christ. As it is written in the book of the Acts of the Apostles, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12). So we pray to God through the name of Jesus Christ.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this beloved daughter who is hurting and struggling. Lord, you know the pain she is experiencing, the bullying she is enduring, and the mental health challenges she is facing. We plead your blood over her life, Lord Jesus, and ask that you comfort her with your presence.
Father, we ask that you give her strength to endure and persevere through these trials. Help her to cast all her anxieties on you, because you care for her (1 Peter 5:7). Lord, guide her to trust in you with all her heart, and lean not on her own understanding. In all her ways, may she acknowledge you, so that you can make her paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6).
We pray for wisdom for her parents and those who care for her, that they may know how to support and guide her in these challenging times. We also pray for those who are bullying her, that they may be convicted of their actions and turn to kindness and compassion.
Lord, we ask that you heal her mind and emotions, and help her to overcome the challenges of ADHD and oppositional defiant disorder. Give her a love for learning and help her to not hate school. In all these things, Father, we ask that you work for her good and your glory, in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord.
We also ask, Father, that you protect her from all the evil. We do not know what has been said or done, but you do. We pray that in all things, Father, that you keep her safe and well. We ask you to reveal what is going on, so we can persevere and address it in prayer and care for her.
We ask in the name of Jesus Christ that if there is anything that we need to address in our own lives, Father, that you will help us do so.
We pray for a full recovery for your daughter, Father. We pray that you will touch her and help her be well.
We pray this prayer believing for miracles in the name of Jesus Christ.
Amen.
We encourage you to continue supporting your daughter with love and patience. Remember that the Lord is close to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Keep trusting in the Lord, and he will strengthen and help you and your daughter through this difficult time.
Lastly, we recommend that you seek godly counsel from your pastor or a trusted Christian counselor to help your daughter through these challenges. God has given us a spirit of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7), and we trust that he will equip you and your daughter with these virtues as you navigate this journey.
