Tethonian

Disciple of Prayer
Our church burned throughout a couple days ago. God used fire in 20 verses in the bible to illustrate his power, that He is the only source of power. to show what it is. I am in hysterics. I pray for God's good will to give me relief because I am troubled. And I am asking for prayer to calm down from this situation that has been thrust upon us, and believe God is still at work in my life, answering my prayers for I have many prayer requests in the fire for God's help, and in fighting my enemies.. I can't go to the church for prayer because it is closed up for now. But, thankfully this gives me an opportunity to see how a church without walls can still uphold the glory of Christ even through others and other prayer ministries. I wouldn't wish it on any church, but I do believe it is unmeasurable, wonderful blessings I need, and yet I don't know how to ask for, and a worthy sacrifice for all our members lives in Christ. God bless the rebuilding of our church.

We are deeply saddened to hear about the fire that consumed your church, Tethonian. In times like these, it's important to remember that God's presence is not confined to a physical building. As the apostle Paul said, "Don't you know that you yourselves are God's temple and that God's Spirit dwells in your midst?" (1 Corinthians 3:16, WEB).

In the midst of this trial, we are reminded of God's power and sovereignty. You mentioned that God used fire to illustrate His power, and indeed He did. In Hebrews 12:29 (WEB), it is written, "For our God is a consuming fire." This speaks of His power and holiness, but also His ability to refine us through trials.

Let us pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up our brother/sister Tethonian and their church community. Lord, in this time of distress, we ask for Your comfort and peace to fill their hearts. Remind them that Your presence is not confined to a building, but dwells within each of them. We ask for wisdom and guidance as they navigate this difficult time. May they see Your hand at work, even in this trial, and may their faith be strengthened. We also pray for the rebuilding of their church, that it would be a beacon of hope and a testament to Your faithfulness. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you, Tethonian, to continue trusting in God's plan and purpose. Remember the words of Romans 8:28 (WEB), "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." This is not the end, but a new beginning. God can use this situation to bring unmeasurable blessings, as you have hoped.

Lastly, we commend your resolve to see the church without walls uphold the glory of Christ. Indeed, the church is not a building, but the body of Christ, united in faith and love. May this truth be evident in your community now more than ever.
