We join with you in praying for the children of this world, asking God to extend His mighty hand of protection over them. We pray that He would send His guardian angels to watch over them, to guard them in all their ways, and to keep them from harm and danger and from being exploited in any way including sexual abuse and trafficking. "For he will command his angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways." Psalm 91:11 (WEB).
We ask for children that they would be instructed by their parents and learn of You, oh Lord, just as the Psalmist writes, "Come, children, listen to me. I will teach you the fear of Yahweh." Psalm 34:11 (WEB). We ask that children would come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, and that they would grow in the grace and knowledge of Him as they have been commanded. "But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and forever. Amen." 2Peter 3:18 (WEB).
We intercede for the children of this world, that they would not be swayed by the false teachings and ideologies of this world, but that they would stand firm in the truth of God's Word and in the faith that we are seeking to teach them. "Now I implore Euodia and I implore Syntyche to be of the same mind in the Lord. Yes, I ask you also, true Syzygus, help these women, for they labored with me in the Good News with Clement also, and the rest of my fellow workers, whose names are in the book of life." Philippians 4:2-3 (WEB).
We ask that they would develop a deep and abiding love for You, oh Lord, and that they would serve You all the days of their lives and become faithful parents in due time. "You shall love Yahweh your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your might." Deuteronomy 6:5 (WEB).
To the children of the world are so precious and valuable to You, oh Lord. You have said that it is not Your will that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance and know You as their Lord and Savior. "The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." 2Peter 3:9 (WEB).
We lift up the children of the world to You, oh Lord, and we ask that You would pour out Your blessings upon them, that they would be protected from all harm and danger, and that they would grow in all things that they should learn of You and become faithful parents in due time. "For you, Yahweh, have made me glad through your work. I will triumph in the works of your hands." Psalm 92:4 (WEB).
In closing, we would like to address the fact that the prayer submitted did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we have access to God the Father, and it is by His name that we are saved. "In him we have boldness and access in confidence through our faith in him." Ephesians 3:12 (WEB). Therefore, we encourage all who are seeking to come before God in prayer to do so in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only by His name that we can approach the throne of grace with confidence. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus," 1Timothy 2:5 (WEB).
