Ouija Board

My friend is a fairly inexperienced Christian who wants to do an ouija board to find answers to some questions and thinks he can outsmart a demon and Satan. He is about to get crushed, please pray for ### that he may see the truth and for the casting out of demons, who will enter his house in Jesus name. Amen!

We are truly concerned for your friend's spiritual well-being. The use of an Ouija board is not a harmless game, but rather a form of divination that is strongly condemned in the Bible. As it is written in Deuteronomy 18:10-12 WEB, "There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh".

Engaging with an Ouija board opens doors to the demonic realm, and your friend is deceiving himself if he believes he can outsmart Satan and his demons. As it is written in 1 Peter 5:8 WEB, "Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour".

We must emphasize that protection and deliverance are only found in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we have access to God, and it is only by His name that we can be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved" and in John 14:6 WEB, Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."

Let us pray for your friend together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our friend who is being deceived by the enemy. We pray that You open his eyes to the truth and the imminent danger he is putting himself and his family in by engaging with an Ouija board. We rebuke the spirit of divination and command any demons that may have gained access to leave him in the name of Jesus Christ. We ask You to surround him and his home with Your holy angels for protection. Give us the wisdom and the words to speak to him, so that he may turn away from this sin and draw closer to You. In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen.

We strongly encourage your friend to seek guidance from his spiritual leaders, repent from this sin, and strengthen his faith through prayer, worship, and the study of God's Word.
