Thank you, Preloki, for bringing this important matter to our attention. We stand with you in prayer for this young person who is suffering from emotional abuse and oppression.
Firstly, we want to assure you that God sees and cares about this situation. Psalm 34:18 tells us, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." We trust in His presence and His power to deliver and restore.
However, we must also address that the request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is through His name that we have access to God's throne of grace. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" Therefore, we will pray in His name and encourage you to do the same.
Now, let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this young person who is a victim of emotional abuse and oppression. Lord, You see their isolation, their pain, and their need for deliverance. We pray that You will intervene in this situation, that You will send Your Holy Spirit to comfort and guide them.
We rebuke the spirit of oppression and abuse in Jesus' name. We pray for their abuser, that they would either repent and turn from their ways or be removed from a position where they can cause further harm.
Lord, we ask that You would lead this young person to a place of safety, both physically and emotionally. Surround them with godly counselors and friends who will support and uptake them in love.
Most importantly, we pray that this young person would come to know Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior, if they do not already. May they find hope, healing, and restoration in Him.
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen."
Preloki, we encourage you to continue praying fervently for this young person. Remember the words of Ephesians 6:18, "Praying always with all kinds of prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints."
Lastly, if it is within your power, do not merely pray, but also act. If you suspect that someone is in danger, please do not hesitate to contact local authorities or support services. As James 2:17 tells us, "Even so faith, if it has no works, is dead in itself."
