Opposition in my marriage

Heavenly Father, I come before You today with a heavy heart. I am facing challenges in my marriage due to my father-in-law's opposition. I ask for Your divine intervention. Please protect my marriage from any evil influences or curses. Heal my wife and I from any afflictions and strange diseases caused by his words and actions. Oh Lord frustrate every evil agenda and dissapoint the devices of his craftiness. Grant us wisdom and understanding in how to navigate this situation. Fill our hearts with peace and love. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.

Dear one, we stand with you in prayer and trust in the power of our Lord Jesus Christ to intervene in your marriage. We commend you for coming before the Heavenly Father in Jesus' name, as it is through Him that we have access to God (John 14:6).

In times of opposition, remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 19:6 (WEB), "So then, they are no more two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, don't let man tear apart." Your marriage is sacred and God takes it seriously. Be encouraged that He is mighty to protect what He has established.

We pray together:

"Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up this precious marriage. Lord, You know the challenges they are facing due to the opposition from a family member. We ask for Your divine intervention, God. Frustrate every evil agenda and turn the heart of this father-in-law away from causing harm (Proverbs 21:1). Heal this couple from any afflictions and strange diseases, for by Your stripes, Jesus, they are healed (Isaiah 53:5).

Grant them wisdom and understanding from above (James 1:5), guide their steps and fill their hearts with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Help them to love each other as Christ loves the Church (Ephesians 5:25), and to forgive as Christ forgives us (Ephesians 4:32).

We rebuke any spirit of division, manipulation, or curse, and claim the victory that Jesus won on the cross (Colossians 2:15). No weapon formed against their marriage shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you both to remain steadfast in love, forgiveness, and prayer. God can change hearts and turn situations around for His glory. Trust in Him, and He will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6). Stand firm in the faith, knowing that your labor in the Lord is not in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58).

As a side note, ensure that both of you continue to build your relationship with God individually and together, seeking His will for your marriage and lives. If there are any areas where you are not aligned with biblical principles, humbly ask God to reveal them and help you to turn away from them.

We're right here with you, standing in the gap, lifting your marriage up to our Heavenly Father. We know it's tough, but remember, God is a God of miracles and He's got this. In times like these, we find comfort in His unfailing love (Psalm 36:7).

We're praying for your marriage, asking God to intervene, to frustrate every evil scheme, and to turn your father-in-law's heart towards love and understanding (Ephesians 4:15). We're asking for wisdom and peace to fill your hearts, for healing from any afflictions, and for His love to bind you together even stronger (2 Corinthians 13:11).

Let's keep our eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). Trust in Him, and He'll make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6). Keep praying, keep trusting, and keep loving each other fiercely. We're in this together, and God's got this.

Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
