We join you in prayer, ###, as you seek self-sufficiency and opportunities to help others. We're reminded of 2 Thessalonians 3:10-13 in the WEB, "For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: 'If anyone is not willing to work, neither let him eat.' For we hear that there are some who walk among you in rebellion, who don't work at all, but are busybodies. Now those who are such, we command and exhort in the Lord Jesus Christ, that they work with quietness and eat their own bread. But you, brothers, don't be weary in doing well."
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up ###. Lord, You see their heart and desire to be self-sufficient and to help others. We ask that You would open doors of opportunity for them, that they may find work that not only provides for their needs but also allows them to be a blessing to others. Help them to be diligent and productive, making the most of every opportunity. We pray that they would not grow weary in doing good, knowing that in due season, they will reap if they do not lose heart. We ask this in Jesus' name, Amen.
We encourage you, ###, to continue seeking God's will for your life. Remember, it's by His grace and strength that we can do all things (Philippians 4:13). As you seek to help others, be mindful of Galatians 6:10, "So then, as we have opportunity, let's do what is good toward all men, and especially toward those who are of the household of the faith."
Lastly, we notice that your request doesn't mention Jesus Christ. We want to remind you that it's through Him that we have access to God. As it's written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" If you haven't already, consider accepting Jesus as your Lord and Savior. It's only through Him that we can be saved (Acts 4:12).
