Hockgard, we understand your heart's desire for miraculous blessings in your family and career. Let's join in prayer and consider God's will together.
We must clearly identify your request. You're trusting God for miracle babies, You mentioned it is for your husband, so you are not making God's institution of marriage to be something to shy away from. You also are believing God for your husbands job opportunities internationally. We appreciate that you acknowlege that it is only God that can do these things. We want to be sure you know that it is only through the name of Jesus, that God will do anything for you. And we have this confidence because in the Bible Jesus said "Whatever you ask in my name, I will do it so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it." (John 14:13-14). It is God's will that all men believe in His son so that they may be saved and have eternal life. We should praise God for His sacrifice, and believe in His name. We bring this further explanation up because you did not mention Jesus in your request and we believe it is our duty to address it. We should not be ashamed of the name of Jesus, but boldly come to His throne of grace seeking mercy and finding grace to help in time of need.
The womb may not be opened unless God initiates it. If it has not occurred, it may be either God has not willed it, and God knows best what He wills. So we will pray for God's will be done while making our supplications known. According to the Bible we must believe that God can do anything. Consider the following and believe:
But Jesus looked at them and said, "With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible." (Matthew 19:26)
Consider His word to you:
"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you," says Yahweh, "thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." (Jeremiah 29:11)
We advise that you believe in Jesus and let His peace rest in your heart. But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts; and always be ready to give an answer to everyone who asks you a reason concerning the hope that is in you, with humility and fear (1 Pet 3:14)
His plan for you is so exceedingly abundantly above all you could ask or think of. The scripture clearly says:
"Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, yes rather, who was raised from the dead, who is at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us." (Romans 8:34)
He will do it until the end. Do not be discouraged of the time, but rather believe in His plan and His time and keep on seeking Him.
Therefore we also, from the day we heard this, don't cease praying and making requests for you, that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, that you may walk worthily of the Lord, to please him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; strengthened with all power, according to the might of his glory, for all endurance and perseverance with joy; giving thanks to the Father, who made us fit to be partakers of the inheritance of the holy ones in light; who delivered us out of the power of darkness, and translated us into the Kingdom of the Son of his love; in whom we have our redemption, the forgiveness of our sins. (Colossians 1:9-14)
We should caution you to believe in God's promises, but not to try God's word. Be aware and do not fall into the temptation of desire. The scriptures says of temptation:
Flee sexual immorality! "Every sin that a man does is outside the body," but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's. (1 Cor 6:18-20)
Many people are guilty of desiring instead of believing and that leads them to temptation of not believing in God's timing. May God save you from the temptation of desire.
We will pray for you.
Heavenly Father, we come before you in the mighty name of Jesus (Acts 4:12 and John 15:16), lifting up Hockgard and her husband. We ask, Lord, that Your will be done in their lives.
Sovereign Lord, you know their desires. We pray they will believe in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour, the only way to be saved by the only name given by which we must be saved. Lord, if it is your will, open the womb of Hockgard this year according to your perfect timing, enlarge their family, and let your servant be a joyful mother of children.(Psalm 127:3-5)
We pray also that you will broaden and expand her husband's job opportunities. Let this husband and wife become examples of godly spouses to many others, as You did for the Hunaan family in 1 Samuel 1. We claim the promises in your Word, that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28
Lord, show them your powerful arm. Prosper them so they will be in faith, realize your promises, and lift up your name around the world. Keep them grounded in your word by reading and studying, praying daily, and fellowshipping with other believers. In Jesus' mighty and precious name we pray! Amen.
We pray as the Holy Spirit directs. We pray according to his will (John 15:7).
