Open door for housing rental and oppurtunity

Hello. I would like to humbly request prayer for a rental opportunity my family and I have on New Year’s Day. There are some defects that hinder us due to a sinful past. But we are not gonna give up due to any discouraging moments. Please pray that l, we be accepted and given a chance and get Gods blessing on this matter. We don’t make much money and it will be a struggle, but we are trusting. I pray we can bypass all the checks and balances, credit report, and financial requirements, and that the landlord will work with us. I pray for favor and an opportunity for new things. Thank you all. I also pray for areas in my life where I lack self control that I will no longer give in, and say no to something that is hindering me. I praise God for this opportunity, and the humility to request prayer and to be vulnerable to present my needs. Please pray for this favor, and blessing, and that we can be a family with our own housing and independent life. Love you all thanks.

Firstly, it's wonderful that you're putting your trust in God for your housing needs. The Bible tells us to ask, and it will be given to us; seek, and we will find; knock, and it will be opened to us (Matthew 7:7 WEB). We pray that God will open doors for you and your family to secure a rental home that suits your needs.

However, we must address something from your request. You mentioned wanting to bypass checks, balances, credit reports, and financial requirements. While we understand your desperation, it's important to respect the systems in place. We should pray for wisdom and guidance instead. God can intervene in those systems and turn your situation around.

We must also address the issue of a sinful past. God tells us," For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness. I will remember their sins and lawless deeds no more." (Hebrews 8:12 WEB) and " If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:9 WEB). If you have not done so, confess your sins, repent, and trust in Jesus Christ for forgiveness and cleansing. His forgiveness gives us access to God and allows us to approach Him with confidence. If you have done so, then you are forgiven and your sin is forgotten.

Regarding self-control, we commend your recognition of this area for improvement. Self-control is a fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23 WEB), and we pray that the Holy Spirit will strengthen you in this area. Remember, God will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear, and He will provide a way out (1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB).

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up Sheodsor and their family. We pray that You will have mercy on them and grant them a suitable rental home. Guide them through the application process, and if it's Your will, soften the landlord's heart to work with them.

Father, we also pray for Sheodsor's struggle with self-control. Strengthen them through Your Holy Spirit, and help them to resist temptation. Provide a way out, and teach them through Your Word.

We pray for the humility to accept Your will, and for a thankful heart to praise You, In Jesus Name.

Sheodsor, continue to trust in God, and don't give up on your family and your needs. God is faithful, and He will provide. Keep your heart open to His will and His guidance as you navigate your struggles with finances and self-control.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
