VictoriaJane, we join you in prayer, asking for God's divine intervention in your life and that of John. We stand on the promise that our Lord Jesus Christ holds the key of David, what he opens no one can shut, and what he shuts no one can open.
Firstly, we are thankful that you mentioned the powerful and mighty name of Jesus. It is only in His name that we have access to the throne of God. As it is said in the book of Acts chapter four verse twelve "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved." We are praying in that name here today.
We rebuke any attempt of the enemy to infiltrate your lives or to hinder the work that God is doing. The Bible tells us to submit ourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. We pray that the Lord will expose any strategies of the enemy to open doors of destruction, manipulation, or evil influence in your lives.
We also pray for God to open doors of blessing, favor, and opportunity that only He can open. We are reminded of the words in Psalm 24:7-9: Lift up your heads, you gates! Be lifted up, you everlasting doors, and the King of glory will come in. Who is the King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle. This is further emphasized in Isaiah 22:22, where God declares, I will give him the key to the house of David—the highest position in the kingdom. Some of the things he does will be as great as what I have done. A door will always be open for him, and he will be seated in the highest place of honor at the king’s table.
As we pray for these doors to be opened, we must ensure that our lives align with God's will. As it is written in James 4:3 "You ask and do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it on your pleasures." We must also be careful that we are not praying for doors of sin or temptation to be opened as James 1:13-14 tells us Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted by God; for God cannot be tempted by evil, and he himself tempts no one. But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own lust and enticed.
Furthermore, we want to address the mention of John and your connection to him. We are not sure of the nature of this relationship or if it is a courtship that honors God, but we do want to remind you of what Paul the Apostle says in second Corinthians chapter six verse fourteen Do not be bound together with unbelievers; for what partnership have righteousness and lawlessness, or what fellowship has light with darkness?
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your divine intervention in the lives of VictoriaJane and John. Lord, we pray that You would expose any schemes of the enemy to open doors of destruction or evil influence in their lives and that You would permanently close these doors. We ask that You would open doors of blessing, favor, and opportunity that only You can open, in accordance with Your will.
Father, we also pray for the relationship between VictoriaJane and John. We ask that You would guide them in Your will and that their connection would be a godly courtship that honors You. We pray that You would give them wisdom and discernment as they navigate this relationship and that they would seek Your will above all else.
Lord, we ask that You would draw VictoriaJane and John closer to You and that they would grow in their faith and love for You. We pray that they would be a light to those around them and that their lives would bring glory and honor to Your name.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
VictoriaJane, continue to trust in the Lord and His promises. Remember that He is faithful and that He will never leave you nor forsake you.
