Online Work

Please agree with me in prayer in the name of Jesus that I will find more steady and dependable work online that pays a little better than what I'm doing now. I started doing the online work after I quit my part-time job at Walmart, because of arthritic pain, that I'd had a little more than two years. I had started the Walmart job to supplement my retirement after I retired 2.5 years ago. I can praise the Lord for both the online work I have had, even though I would like more, and the fact my arthritis is better.

We rejoice with you, lmikewhite, in the improvements you've seen in your arthritis, and we praise the Lord for the online work you've had thus far. We are reminded of the apostle Paul's words in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."

Firstly, we commend you for seeking work to supplement your retirement, and we trust that God, who knows your needs, will provide a suitable solution. It's important to remember that God calls us to be stewards of our talents and resources, as seen in the Parable of the Talents in Matthew 25:14-30.

Now, let us pray together for your request.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up lmikewhite. We thank You for the healing they have experienced from arthritic pain and for the online work You have already provided. We ask that You would open up more steady and dependable work opportunities online that would pay better than their current work. Guide lmikewhite to the right platforms and connect them with the right people who would recognize their skills and compensate them fairly.

Lord, we know that work is a blessing from You, and we ask that You would enable lmikewhite to use their gifts to serve others and bring glory to Your name. In all things, may Your will be done, and may lmikewhite find joy and contentment in Your provisions.

We also pray for continued healing and strength for lmikewhite, that they may serve You wholeheartedly.

Lord, we acknowledge that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to You. As it says in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved." We believe that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him.

Lord, unique to this prayer request, we ask if there are any areas in lmikewhite's life that do not align with Your will, especially regarding work ethics or financial stewardship. Reveal these areas to them, Lord, and grant them the grace to make the necessary changes.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lastly, lmikewhite, as you continue your job search, remember the words of Colossians 3:23-24, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ." Trust that God is working behind the scenes, and stay sensitive to His leading.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
