Dear Lord,
TY that the shingles is finally resolving. I still have pain in the affected area of my back, which is complicated by gall stones (pain in the same area). The shingles was bad enough that a large area is scarring, but at least there is no active shingles rash visible. I do have another rash that appeared around the same area, which happens sometimes. Thankfully it is not painful, just annoying + slightly itchy. Still, it wears on me to have one more thing to deal with.
Protect my gall bladder so it does not get real inflamed + the bile ducts don't get obstructed from the stones. That can be dangerous with my medical history.
I got some good news with the latest lab results- no viruses are attacking the kidney or are in the blood; there's no infection anywhere. I'm still waiting for the renal ultrasound report, but if there were an urgent matter that required attention, I would have been admitted Weds., not sent home.
I pray the next blood work done will show a drop in the creatinine. I absolutely do not want to go back on dialysis, ever again. At my age, I would only do it a short time.
I could use some more encouragement, Lord. My feet + legs are swollen, but that can be d/t a medication change. Still, it's uncomfortable.
I pray for patient endurance.
In your holy name, amen.
