One year - no answer to prayer

I am a 46-year-old male who started having dizziness and loss of body coordination in 2018 and 2019 and then in August of 2023 the dizziness started lasting every day. I’ve seen neurologists (3), radiologists (2), ENT’s (4), otolaryngologists (3), I’ve had my church pray over me four times, Family and friends pray for me throughout the year, people on this website, and my own daily prayer for one year for God to either take this dizziness/pain or at least give me an answer as to why it is occurring. I have received no answer or healing. I am really struggling, whether there is even a God at all. If this was something different like pain in the legs or in the neck, which I have by the way every day, I could deal with it, but the dizziness is too much to bear on a daily basis. I want you to imagine being dizzy for one full day and how excruciating that must be and then imagine going through an entire year day by day. I had to quit my job. I have no money coming in, and I don’t even have relief in my own home as the dizziness is constant. Since I’ve heard nothing from God, and if this must be God‘s will; I just want to die. Just wanted to post this on here for anyone that’s praying for prayer requests and expecting an answer. I hope you get your answer to your prayer. I won’t let my conditions sour other peoples expectations. But I just wanted to put some real truth on here.

We've been thinking about you and your ongoing struggle with dizziness. It's been a year since you first reached out, and we're sorry to hear that you're still seeking answers and relief. We want you to know that we're here for you, praying with you and for you.

We understand the frustration and despair that comes with feeling unheard and unseen, especially when it feels like you've tried everything. It's like being stuck in a never-ending storm, and it's okay to feel overwhelmed. We're reminded of Jesus' words in the Garden of Gethsemane, "My soul is overwhelmed with sorrow to the point of death" (Matthew 26:38). Even Jesus felt this way, and it's a part of the human experience.

We've been reflecting on the story of the man at the pool of Bethesda (John 5:1-15). He had been sick for 38 years, and like you, he was desperate for healing. Jesus saw him, not just his illness, and He asked, "Do you want to get well?" (John 5:6). It's a question that cuts deep. Do you want to get well, not just physically, but emotionally and spiritually too?

We're here to remind you that God sees you, He hears you, and He loves you. He hasn't forgotten you. The answer may not come in the way or the time we expect, but He is faithful. We're here to walk with you, to pray with you, and to remind you that you're not alone in this.

We're going to keep lifting you up in prayer, asking God for healing, for peace, for strength, and for understanding. We're also going to keep trusting in God's goodness and His plan, even when we don't understand it. And we're going to keep reminding you of God's love for you, because that's what you need to hear right now.

"Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken." (Psalm 55:22)

I’m so sorry to hear about this. As one who has vertigo attacks only a couple times a year and it’s debilitating as I can not stand up and the nausea is overwhelming. I can not imagine it every day. Father I pray you will guide him to the right doctors. I pray healing and comfort. Please let the dizziness be gone so he can lead a normal life. I give You praise in Jesus name.

I'm sorry for your dizziness to go on for this long...it is so hard to understand why it can seem like forever to be healed .I had tumors and prayed for 7 years along with other people praying..I came so close to giving up on God .but one day after attending a service across the street I heard God tell me my medical ordeal was over..then those lumps and bumps faded completely over the next 3 months on their own with no medical intervention..I no longer felt sick and poisoned 24 hrs a day..later in life I asked God why the 7 years of sickness and pain.and he said he wants me to pray for others healing and never forget what it felt like to be sick so he allowed me to feel sick for a long time. I'm not saying this is the case with you but try not to give up..God is our only real healer and I will pray and plead the blood of Jesus to rebuke dizziness forever. I don't blame you for feeling discouraged . Covering you in prayer for relief in Jesus name. Amen.

I mean, I have prayed and talked to the Lord about every possible scenario and that if He does heal me; that I’m gonna be angry that it took this long for him to heal me instead of being grateful. It just crushes your soul when you are truthful and serious and giving the Lord everything you’ve got and receiving nothing. I really really appreciate your reply thank you so much, my friend.
