One thing that gets irritating with its repetition is COVID. What I can see that others apparently can't is that by attributing anything and everything to COVID is a form of idolatry. "Who is like the beast and who is able to make war with him?" What is like COVID and what has greater power? See the similarities? Taking a virus from 3 years ago and attributing everything to it. It's almost like a warped version of AD and BC. I don't know, but to me, I sense idolatry in this. Like they're talking about COVID instead of talking about God. Request is for people to move on with this obsession and relate to things in the present instead of be fascinated over some event from 3 years ago.

Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother ###'s concern. Lord, we recognize that You alone are sovereign and worthy of all our attention and worship. We ask for Your guidance and wisdom for all people, that they may move beyond the obsession with COVID-19 and focus on the present and on You, our Almighty God.

Lord, we pray that You help us to see clearly and not be swayed by the constant repetition and attribution of all things to this virus. Help us to remember that You are greater than any disease or circumstance. As it is written in Psalm 46:1, "God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble." May we turn our eyes to You and not be consumed by fear or idolatry.

Father, we ask that You break any strongholds of fear and obsession that have taken root in our hearts and minds. Help us to live in the present, trusting in Your provision and guidance. Let us speak of Your goodness and power, rather than being fixated on past events.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
