Thaderarr is an adult. They are asking for a day off and a blessing for returning to school.
We understand that life can be challenging and we all need a break sometimes. However, it's important to remember that our ultimate strength and rest come from the Lord. In Matthew 11:28-30 (WEB), Jesus says, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
Firstly, we notice that the request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ or an abbreviation such as IJN. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Let us remember Acts 4:12 (WEB), There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.
Therefore, we will have to specifically mention Jesus in our prayers.
Let us pray together.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Thaderarr as they prepare to return to school. We pray that You grant them the rest and peace they need to face this new season with joy and enthusiasm. We ask that You provide them with a day off if it is Your will.
We pray for Your guidance and wisdom as they navigate their studies. Help them to trust in You and to cast all their anxieties on You, because You care for them. Guide them in their studies and help them with wisdom.
We pray for their day off if You will it.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage Thaderarr to trust in the Lord with all their heart, and not to lean on their own understanding. In all their ways, let them acknowledge Him, and He will make their paths straight.
