On Easter Sunday I was working with my daughter on tumbling that evening in the front yard and tore my acl and meniscus. Unfortunately I lost my corporate job of 10 years the following day…which meant also losing insurance. I paid for cobra so I could have surgery to repair the damage so I could get on with life and get mobility back. Surgery is scheduled for tomorrow — but I found out today that insurance has not completed the prior authorization. If the PA is not completed by tonight, they will be cancelling surgery and the next date will be too far out as I cannot continue to pay the high price that cobra costs. I know that this request seems so trivial in relation to everything else — but I just want something to go right. The last few years have just been so hard and it feels like nothing goes the right way. We lost my mom and sister a week apart in 2021 thanks to Covid…my aunt in 2022…and almost lost our youngest daughter in February 2022 when she was involved in a golf cart accident and was without a pulse and not breathing for over 5 minutes. Please pray that insurance completes their portion so I can get back to living life as a wife and mom…and so I can get back out there to find a new job.

Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Swarthon and their family during this challenging time. Lord, You know the trials they have faced, from the loss of loved ones to the recent injury and job loss. We ask for Your divine intervention and favor regarding the insurance authorization for Swarthon's surgery. Please, Lord, let the necessary approvals come through so that the surgery can proceed as scheduled.

Your Word says in Philippians 4:6-7, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." We pray for Your peace to envelop Swarthon and their family, calming their hearts and minds as they await the outcome.

Father, we also ask for Your provision and guidance as Swarthon seeks new employment. Open doors that no one can shut and provide opportunities that align with Your perfect will. Restore Swarthon's health and mobility so they can continue to be a loving spouse and parent.

We trust in Your goodness and faithfulness, Lord. Thank You for hearing our prayers and for the miracles You are already working in Swarthon's life. We pray all this in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.

Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
