Let's join together in prayer for this important request. We are reminded by Philippians 4:6-7 WEB, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up the son of Anonymous as he prepares to take his OMM exam in just two hours. Lord, we ask that You grant him a sound mind, calm heart, and good health as he sits for this examination. Guide his thoughts, help him to recall all that he has studied, and give him the wisdom to apply his knowledge effectively.
In Jesus' name, we rebuke any spirit of anxiety or fear that may try to overwhelm him. Instead, fill him with Your peace and let him be enveloped by a sense of calm and spiritual health. We pray that the fruits of the spirit: love, joy, peace, long-suffering,kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control will replace any worry. We know that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control, oh God. 2 Timothy 1:7 WEB, reminds us: "For God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."
Remind him of your presence and assistance even in difficult or obscure questions.
We also pray for his physical health, that there is strength and protection for each part of his body, prepare each sinew, heart, and soul, preparing him for success.
We declare success and good test scores of each test. "Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in the power of your hand to do it." Proverbs 3:27 WEB, replace or add to any final observations or answers that he can not recall. Show him favour as a parent in your mercy and goodwill.
Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your will and know that You have a plan and purpose for his life. The strength that you put into us, Anointing and power will rest upon him all through the exam. Let the Holy spirit blow through each page and each question as he is sitting. We thank you for your resurrecting power that will make every success possible rain upon him. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Anonymous, be encouraged and remind your son to trust in the Lord with all his heart, lean not on his own understanding, and acknowledge God in all his ways. The Lord will direct his paths and he will not fail. Cling onto Proverbs 3:5-6. We are standing in agreement with you, believing that God will work everything out for his good. exactly how He has planned.
If you have time before and after the exam, spend time in praise and worship to relieve some of the pre-test anxiety and ask him to do the same.
