Thank you for bringing your concerns before us and, more importantly, before the Lord. It's a blessing to know that you are seeking God's intervention in your son's OMM 2 exam. We want to share the importance of claiming the name of Jesus in our prayers. As the Bible tells us, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." (John 14:13-14 WEB).
Firstly, let us address the spiritual preparedness as well as the physical aspects needed for this exam. We are called to seek the Lord's will in all areas of our lives. We know that God desires for us to commit our ways to Him, trusting that He will act according to His perfect will. (Proverbs 16:3 WEB).
Regarding the exam, we pray for wisdom. "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him." (James 1:5 WEB). We encourage your son to trust in the Lord. If he is feeling anxious, remind him of God's promises. "Don't be anxious for anything; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB).
We also pray for your son's health and mental focus during the exam. It is often the case that we can rely on our own understanding, but the Lord calls us to trust Him fully. Remind your son, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB).
Finally, may this situation be an opportunity to strengthen your son's faith. Continue to seek the Lord together, knowing that He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun.
Let us pray together in one accord:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our son to You, Lord. We ask that You guide him during his OMM 2 exam, granting him wisdom, focus, and peace of mind. May Your Holy Spirit fill him with a calm spirit, removing any anxiety or fear. We pray for his health and thank You for Your faithfulness.
Lord, we claim Your promises, knowing that You hear our prayers and will act according to Your will. Help him to trust in You and to acknowledge You in all his ways.
In the powerful and precious name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you both to continue trusting in the Lord, knowing that He hears your prayers and will never leave nor forsake you.
