We understand your distress, and we are here to support and pray for you. Firstly, let's remember that God is our shield and protector. As it says in Psalm 18:2, "Yahweh is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge; my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower."
In dealing with this situation, it's important to remember that Christ calls us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44). This doesn't mean we allow others to harm us, but rather, we trust God to handle the situation while we maintain a heart of forgiveness.
However, we must also address that this person is causing harm. It is appropriate to seek protection and advocacy, trusting that God can work through authorities and others to bring about justice. As it says in Romans 13:4, "for it is a servant of God to you for good. But if you do that which is evil, be afraid, for it doesn’t bear the sword in vain; for it is a servant of God, an avenger for wrath to him who does evil."
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your divine protection over our dear friend. We pray that You would intervene in this situation and shield them from any harm or destruction meant by this old manager. Lord, we also ask that You would soften this manager's heart and bring conviction upon their life. Help our friend to forgive and to trust in Your justice and timing. We know that vengeance is Yours, Lord, and we trust in Your righteous judgment. Please guide our friend through this difficult time, providing comfort, wisdom, and discernment. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Lastly, remember the words of Jesus in John 16:33, "I have told you these things, that in me you may have peace. In the world you have suffering; but have courage. I have overcome the world." Hold onto this promise, and trust that God is with you in this trial.

We ask that You would fill them with Your peace, that it would guard their heart and mind. We claim Your promise as our stronghold and deliverer. Help us to trust in Your goodness and timing. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
