We understand that you are seeking God's mercy and guidance for various aspects of your life, including your academic pursuits, business, dreams, and family life. Firstly, we notice that your prayer does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God, we are also called to pray in his name.
For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB)
And whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it. (John 14:1:14 WEB).
We also read from the Bible that whatever we ask we are to ask with thanksgiving for we will receive. What seems to be missing here is gratitude for it is astonishing that God will answer our prayers and he will answer them indeed. But first we must believe that is is God who grants us wisdom and knowledge. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him. (James 1:5 WEB)
Let's pray together for the mercy of God, thanksgiving, and the excellence of Jesus Christ:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your mercy and grace for our beloved friend and brother in Christ. Lord, we ask that You guide his steps and grant him success in his upcoming exam results in January 2025. May Your will be done in his life, and may he find favor in his entrance into university. We pray against any need to resit exams, believing that Your divine plan for his life is to prosper and succeed (Jeremiah 29:11).
We also lift up his business to You, Lord. May You bless the work of his hands and grant him success in all his endeavors(Deuteronomy 28:12). We pray for Your guidance and wisdom in his dreams and aspirations, that they may align with Your will and bring glory to Your name(Psalm 37:4-5).
Father, we ask for Your peace and mercy upon his family. Heal any brokenness, and may being of one mind and joint heirs of Jesus Christ be ever present. May Your love and joy fill their home according to Romans 15:13 'Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, in the power of the Holy Spirit.' and that Your will be done in their lives(Matthew 6:10).
In all these things Lord, we pray believing. You will do the work as it says in your Word that "...if two of you will agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask," and we ask these things are of naturally good. Jesus said in Matthew 18:19 that it shall be done for them of my Father who is in heaven.
Finally Lord, be the Rock of our salvation and Your Son Jesus Christ our Redeemer,
In Jesus' name, we pray.
Amen.
