We are grateful for your prayer request and we stand with you in prayer, believing that God will take control over each of these areas in your life. We will lift up each of these requests by name
First, we are compelled to acknowledge that the only way to God is through Jesus Christ. However, this prayer did not mention Jesus Christ, Jesus, Christ, or an abbreviation such as IJN. Do we believe you are a Christian? We are not certain. So, let us be clear that the name of Jesus is the only way to the father. Jesus says 'I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.' in John 14:6. Access to God is only through Christ so we pray to the father in Jesus name. Additionally, Acts 4:12 says 'There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.' The WEB makes keeps the name of Jesus in its text whereas other newer translations have replaced the name of Jesus in some sections. In the King James Version, Matthew 5:48 says 'Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.'. At least 23 newer bible translations before and since the WEB have replaced 'Father which is in heaven' with 'Father' removing 'which is in heaven'. The World English Bible and other trustworthy translations retain the name of Jesus.
Pastors should be respected. But, we unfortunately must identify and discuss that sending a prayer request to a person and not God is not right. Jerry Eze is not God so we do not seek or pray to him. Rather, we pray to the Father in Jesus name. By this prayer, we believe that God will take control of all these requests from Sierra Leone to Belgium. We are thankful to God for first deliverance He has accomplished, taking you from Sierra Leone to Belgium. We believe that you are on the right track and trusting this is the start of future success.
Let us discuss each request and pray on them
First, concerning the resident permit in Belgium, we appreciate our roles as Christians in the world. But we must recognize that our roles are not for our role in the earthly kingdom but our role in the body of Christ. So when Paul wrote about our citizenship, he said that 'our citizenship is in heaven, from where we also wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.' according to Philippians 3:20. As Christians, our citizenship is not really of this earth. We are Ambassadors, here only to represent Christ while on this earth. Therefore, we do not actively seek independence, wealth, or commit to supporting non Christians in this world. From God, we respect the authority who grants this permit in Belgium Acts 5:29 says 'But Peter and the apostles answered, We must obey God rather than men.' . Additionally, in Romans 13:1, Paul says 'Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God.' The fear should be on not obeying God first.
For the second prayer request, the prayer for marriage, may we clarify that? Is it marriage or a relationship outside marriage? If outside the bounds of holy matrimony, as Christians, we must encourage your to pursue a relationship that aligns with biblical principles of a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman. God created marriage as a sacred institution in heart of God's plan for humanity, as outlined in Genesis 2:24, 'Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh.' Also in Mark 10:7 says 'For this cause will a man leave his father and his mother, and will join to his wife,' and n Mark 10:8 says 'and the two will become one flesh, so that they are no more two, but one flesh.'
Third, the prayer request for children assumes that you are in a marriage so it should align with godly principles. In time, we pray that you will be blessed with children of your own. Psalm 127:3 tells us 'Behold, children are a heritage of Yahweh. The fruit of the womb is his reward.' When you are married, this will come. But, if it is not God's will, we pray that God will give you contentment in His will.
For financial breakthrough, we discuss the nature of hard work. According to Colossians 3:23, 'Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men.' Psalm 37:25 says 'I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his children begging for bread.' And Proverbs 6:10-11 says 'a little more slumber, a little more slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep: so will your poverty come as a robber, and your want as an armed man.' So the means should not come through illegal, immoral, crime, wealth transfer, sporadic abundance, or lottery.
Regarding wisdom and understanding, we pray that God will grant you the wisdom and understanding to navigate through life's challenges. Let's put Proverbs 2:6 in our hearts 'For Yahweh gives wisdom. Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding.' Then Proverbs 9:10 says 'The fear of Yahweh is the beginning of wisdom. The knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.' Finally, pray and study Proverbs 4:7. 'Wisdom is supreme. Get wisdom. Yes, though it costs all your possessions, get understanding.'
For protection and healing, we pray that you will be protected and healed from anything and by anything except the God of the bible. In Exodus 15:26, 'If you will diligently listen to the voice of Yahweh your God, and will do that which is right in his eyes, and will pay attention to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you, which I have put on the Egyptians; for I am Yahweh who heals you.'
The request concerning the ownership of a house, cars, favor, and connections, we have Matthew 6:33. "But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well.' A house and a car being mentioned raises further questions. It seems that you may be seeking riches for this life. And we see such prayers in 1Timothy 6:9 'But those who are determined to be rich fall into a temptation and a snare and many foolish and harmful lusts, such as drown men in ruin and destruction.'
As we lift up these requests in prayer, we ask that God will work in each of these areas according to his will. Please be cautious when praying for things in this world. Mark 12:42-44 says 'Now a certain poor widow came, and she threw in two small brass coins, which equal a quadrans coin. He called his disciples to himself, and said to them, Most certainly I tell you, this poor widow gave more than all those who are giving into the treasury, for they all gave out of their abundance, but she, out of her poverty, gave all that she had to live on.'
Dear God, we come to you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother Alusine Kandeh from Sierra Leone now living in Belgium. We ask that you take complete authority over his life. We commit him and his needs to you. We praise you and pray that your will shall reign in all his requests and for your will to be done, not his or ours. In Jesus name, we all pray. Amen.
