Heavenly Father,
We come before You with humble hearts, lifting up Xavier in prayer. Your Word tells us in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope." Lord, we trust in Your divine plan for Xavier's life, even in this challenging time.
Father, we ask for Your mercy and grace to be upon Xavier as he is detained. We pray for Your peace that surpasses all understanding to guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus, as Philippians 4:7 promises. May he feel Your presence with him, giving him strength and comfort.
Lord, we lift up the upcoming hearing on Tuesday. We pray for favor and wisdom for Xavier and all involved in the decision-making process. As Proverbs 21:1 says, "The king's heart is a stream of water in the hand of the Lord; He turns it wherever He will." We ask that You guide the hearts of those in authority to grant Xavier the stay he seeks in Canada.
Father, we trust in Your perfect timing and Your unfailing love. We pray that Xavier's faith will be strengthened through this trial and that he will continue to seek You with all his heart. May Your will be done in his life, and may Your name be glorified through this situation.
