Dear Anonymous,
We understand your desire for a successful visa application and smooth travel plans. However, let's first remember that our ultimate trust should be in God's will and not solely in our own desires. As it is written in Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB), "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
Before we pray for your visa, we want to ensure that your plans align with God's will and that you are seeking Him first. If you are fleeing danger or seeking better opportunities, we can certainly pray for God's guidance and protection. But if your intentions are not right, we encourage you to realign them with God's will. Remember, James 4:3 (WEB) tells us, "You ask and don’t receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it on your pleasures."
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, seeking Your will for our brother/sister. We ask that You guide their steps and direct their paths. If it is Your will for them to receive this visa and travel, we ask that You smooth the way and open the doors. But above all, we pray that they would seek Your kingdom first and trust in Your plans. Please reveal Your purpose to them and give them the strength and wisdom to follow it.
Lastly, we want to remind you that it is only through Jesus Christ that we can approach God. Acts 4:12 (WEB) declares, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" If you haven't already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus and His saving grace.
May the Lord guide and bless you,
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
