Regarding your issue, it's important to remember that God seeks our heart first. In 1 Samuel 16:7 WEB God says, "For man looks on the outward appearance, but Yahweh looks on the heart."

In Psalm 139:14, we're told, "I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well." Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
