Faithful Servant
Oh Jesus, my high priest forever in the order of Melchizedek, I now come before you regarding the household outgoings that I have sat down thinking about and the difficulties I face finding a suitable job that can support all the household outgoings that I already facing. Some household debts have been repayed but others remain outstanding.
For me, the Cost of Living crisis endurance continues daily.
I shouldn't have to make a choice of going back to work because of desperation. The reality is that I must make a choice between accepting jobs from prospective employers who only want employees on 'cheap labour' salaries and cannot offer the right salaries that I want or to remain on unemployment until the right job finally comes. None of these choices are good.
I would be working hard but not working smart and earning exceedingly low salaries. I would be taking a backward step and not going forward because I would be forced to accept a salary that wasn't to my salary expectations.
My situation would suddenly change from a bad situation to a dire situation overnight. I would be much worse off because i would have to pay all utility bills (electric/gas/water) in full. I would get virtually no help with my bills from the utility companies because of my employment status. I would get no help with reducing my debts as I would have to repay the full monthly amount requested from them. There would be nothing left to pay for petrol for the car, nothing for day-trips.
I now lay my prayer request and ask that you as my high priest would take it up to the heavenly father in the heavenly, spiritual realm for his divine, spiritual guidance and wisdom. Amen.
