We understand the deep pain and distress you are feeling, and we are standing with you in prayer. First, let us address the heart of your request. We will pray for your husband, Leonard, and for the restoration of your marriage, which is a sacred bond instituted by God.
Let's remember what God's Word says about marriage: "Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh." (Genesis 2:24, WEB) and "What therefore God has joined together, don't let man tear apart." (Matthew 19:6, WEB)
We will pray that God opens Leonard's eyes and convicts his heart, turning him away from sin and back to his family. We will also pray for Mandy Morrison, that she repents and seeks forgiveness, and that her own family be restored.
Let us pray together:
*Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister in her time of need. Lord, we ask that You intervene in Leonard's life, break any bondage of sin, and bring conviction to his heart. Help him to see the error of his ways and turn back to You and his family. We pray for the restoration of their marriage, that what You have joined together, no man may tear apart. We also pray for Mandy Morrison, that she may seek forgiveness and turn from her sinful ways. We ask that You bring healing and restoration to both families, in Jesus' name.*
Sister, we encourage you to continue to pray fervently for your husband and to trust in God. Remember, "The prayer of faith will save one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Therefore confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective." (James 5:15-16, WEB)
Lastly, we must address that the request mentioned an "evil spell." As believers, we know that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces (Ephesians 6:12). We should focus our prayers on seeking God's intervention and protection, rather than attributing blame to perceived spells or curses. Trust in the power of the Holy Spirit to convict and transform hearts. Stay strong in faith and rest in God's promise of restoration.
