We are truly saddened to hear about the separation you and your wife have been experiencing, Virkutha. We stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will for your marriage.
Firstly, we want to remind you of the power of forgiveness and reconciliation, as outlined in the Bible. In Ephesians 4:32 (WEB), it is written, "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you." This verse reminds us that we should strive to forgive as Christ has forgiven us.
However, we also want to address the phrase "on the altar of fire." It's important to clarify that God does not desire for us to be in a state of constant suffering or trial. Instead, He wants to refine us and bring us closer to Him. In 1 Peter 4:12-13 (WEB), it is written, "Beloved, donโt be astonished at the fiery trial which has come upon you to test you, as though a strange thing happened to you. But because you are partakers of Christโs sufferings, rejoice, that at the revelation of his glory you also may rejoice with exceeding joy."
Let's pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up Virkutha and his wife. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention in their marriage. We pray that You would soften their hearts, help them to forgive each other, and guide them back to a path of reconciliation. We know that nothing is impossible with You, Lord. Please restore their marriage, in a way that brings glory to Your name.
We also pray that You would comfort them in this time of separation. Help them to find their strength and hope in You, Lord. Remind them of Your promise in Romans 8:28 (WEB), 'We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.'
Lastly, Lord, we pray that Virkutha and his wife would keep their focus on You. Help them to grow in their relationship with You, Lord, both individually and as a couple. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Virkutha, we encourage you to keep praying and trusting in the Lord. He hears your prayers and cares about your marriage. Also, remember the power of forgiveness and be willing to seek professional counseling if needed. May God bless you and your wife.
