Oh Almighty Abba Father, creator and righteous judge of all the earth, who is dressed in purest white and who sits on the golden throne in the heavenly realm with your only begotten son, Yahshua the prince of peace, i humbly come before you. You know that a stronghold of the mind is a lie that gets established in our thinking and actions. Please remove all spiritual blindness, deafness and hardness of my heart. Show me in the unseen spiritual world the strongholds that exist in my life. Forgive me for believing the lies that have created my stronghold and for reacting in ungodly ways to negative experiences that have happened to me.

I ask you for the anointing of Ruach Ha'Kodesh (holy spirit) to go forth in destroying every stronghold of my mind, everything that has kept me in bondage that hinders me to have a strong foundation with you. Please Abba Father, I would like you to give back to me all my lost dreams that were stolen from me so that you can show me what is happening to me in the unseen spirit world. I am no longer replying on my understanding but relying on you.

I ask that you accept my sincere and honest prayer laid at your feet from the bottom of my heart in the name of your son Yahshua whom you are well pleased, my shepherd of the lost sheep and of Ruach Ha'Kodesh. Amen!

A stronghold in the mind is a spiritual fortress made up of wrong thoughts it’s a fortified dwelling place where demonic forces can hide and operate. A stronghold of the mind is a lie that Satan establishes in our thinking. It’s a statement that we count as true but is actually false.

Broadly speaking the mind is the brain. The mind is the psychological term whereas the brain is the physiological term. The mind is unusual as it is the battlefield where Satan and evil spirits crave to capture. They know that if they can control the mind they can control the person.

The Bible pictures the mind as being held by the enemy it must, therefore, be broken into by waging war. The Bible says that many rebellious thoughts are housed in the mind in what it calls a stronghold and this needs to be taken captive to the obedience of Yahshua.
