Let us bring your office issue to the Lord in prayer, trusting in His promise: "But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well" (Matthew 6:33 WEB).
Firstly, we notice that God and the problem were mentioned but the name of Jesus Christ was not mentioned in the request. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God the Father. Therefore, we pray to God the Father in the name of Jesus Christ. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB. Unfortunately, there are those who do not understand this principle and believe they can approach God directly without Jesus Christ or a mediator. The Lord Jesus Christ is our High Priest and is the only mediator we need.
In Jesus' name, we pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our dear friend who is facing a challenge at their office. Lord, You know the details of this situation, and nothing is hidden from Your sight. We claim Your promise that whoever asks will receive, and whoever seeks will find (Matthew 7:8 WEB).
Grant our friend wisdom and discernment to navigate this issue. Prepare their heart and mind to participate in the event tomorrow, and guide their steps as they seek Your will.
Lord Jesus Christ, You are our mediator and our salvation. We need you in our lives and it is only by your name that we can be saved. Acts 4:12 WEB says "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." We ask that you fill our friend's heart and life, and the heart and life of everyone involved.
We rebuke any anxiety or fear that may be tempting our friend, and we declare Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7 WEB).
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, knowing that God cares for you and is always working things together for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28 WEB). Stand firm in your faith, and remember to give thanks in all circumstances (1 Thessalonians 5:18 WEB).
