We are truly sorry to hear about the physical, emotional, and financial turmoil you have experienced. Let us first address the spiritual aspect of your situation. If we want to see justice from God then we need to be sure that we have forgiven our trespassers first. There is no denying that the actions of your colleagues were evil, as stated in Isaiah 5:20 WEB: "Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!" Before we cry for Justice, we must forgive our trespassers. Jesus instructs us that we have to forgive them before He will forgive us.
So we first must pray for our trespassers and forgive them. The decision to forgive is not about saying that what they did was acceptable, it is about releasing the control that their actions have over your emotions, letting go of the pain and anger, trusting Jesus to bring justice in the situation and eternity. Forgiveness is a decision, a decision that you want to not be bound by the emotions that you are currently experiencing. If you make a stand of faith, to make a decision, this may be hard. But we will pray for the Holy Spirit to heal you from the pain and anger that you are experiencing and replace it with love. The kind of love that the Father has, wanting these evil doers to be saved eternal condemnation, and to come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. But not from a place where you want to avenge them but rather where you care for their soul. Because the pain and anger that you are feeling now will only last a short time but if they do not repent, these trespassers will face eternal pain and suffering. Here are somerelvant scriptures.
In Matthew 6:13-15 WEB, " 'Bring us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For yours is the Kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. Amen. For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.'"
Colosians 3:12-15 WEB, "Put on therefore, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, a heart of compassion, kindness, lowliness, humility, and perseverance; bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, if any man has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so you also do. Above all these things, walked in love, which is the bond of perfection. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful."
Once you have forgiven them, you can call for justice. Because you are in a position where all you want is the truth to come out. Let us pray with you for this.
"Father, we come before you in Jesus' name, lifting up our sister who has experienced immense injustice. We ask for the strength to forgive our trespassers as Jesus forgives us. We pray that our trespassers and our enemies be saved. We pray for the Holy Spirit to heal the pain and anger we feel and replace it with love and that the truth be revealed and justice be served. We know that vengeance is yours, Lord, and we trust in your perfect timing. We also pray for our sister's financial situation, that you would provide for her needs according to your riches in glory. We pray for IJN.
We also pray that our sister finds work with godly coworkers that will be loving to her and Jesus like to her. In James 4:3 WEB, "You ask and don't receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it for your pleasure." In the job that our sister finds, we pray that it allows her to not serve herself but rather to serve others that she may expand your kingdom. We pray for IJN."
Meanwhile we are also concerned the final sentence in your prayer about your own guilt: "They were the most mentally depraved people that I ever encountered. I could have taken further action by way of lawsuit but I was too ill to do so. I cry, I hurt, I doubt." This is a difficult situation to handle, it may be a sign of depression, feelings of worthlessness, despair, guilt, and doubt. We recommend reaching out to a trusted Christian friend or counselor to process these feelings and develop strategies to manage them. We also pray that you seek help for the guilt. Remember, God does not want us to live in guilt and condemnation. He wants us to seek help, to live in freedom, hope and joy. Let us pray for this aspect as well.
"Father, we also come before you to lift up the guilt, doubt, and all of the emotions that our sister is feeling. We pray for her to seek help from a godly counsel. We praise you that our sins are forgiven, even the sins that we commit after we are saved. In Isaiah 1:18 WEB, "Come now, and let us reason together," says Yahweh: "though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow. Though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool." Lord, by this we approach the throne of grace with confidence. We pray that we can look to our past mistakes and thank you Jesus for forgiving us of these sins. In Romans 8:1-2 WEB, "There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don't walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from the law of sin and of death." And we pray for your word in Psalm 55:22 WEB, "Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved." That we would be able to cast our burdens on you that you may sustain us. We trust in you Jesus. We pray in Jesus' name."
Let us stand together, putting on the full spiritual Armor of God as outlined in Ephesians 6:10-18. Take heart our sister in Jesus! Christ has overcome, and so will you, in His holy name. Continue to trust in God and march on with your head held high, knowing that your heavenly Father loves you and is always in charge.
