Tyrhand, we understand that you're facing obstacles in your relationship and that you have strong feelings for your girlfriend. However we have to clarify and address a number of points first. First, it's important to note that the Bible encourages us to seek God's will in all things, including our relationships. We are to be equally yoked with fellow believers.
Is this relationship already in marriage or is it for courtship?
It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. If you have not believed and confessed that Jesus is Lord then saved by His name. This is the first thing you must do. The Bible tells us "because if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the Scripture says, Whoever believes in him will not be disappointed. For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, and is rich to all who call on him. For, Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved." (Romans 10:9-13 WEB)
It's also crucial to ensure that your relationship aligns with biblical principles. If you are living with your girlfriend, not married, or engaging in sexual relations, this is fornication and against God's will. God's design for intimacy is within the bounds of marriage between a man and a woman. The Bible tells us, "Let's forsake sexual immorality. Every one of you know how to control his body in holiness and honor, not in the passion of lust, even as the Gentiles who don't know God" (1 Thessalonians 4:3-5 WEB).
If you are not married and are intimate, you need to repent and change your ways immediately. God will not bless something that is against His will. We advise you to seek godly counsel and consider the sanctity of marriage as outlined in the Bible.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Tyrhand and his relationship. Lord, we pray that Your will be done in their lives. If this relationship is not aligned with Your principles, we ask that You guide them and convict their hearts to follow Your path. If they are not married, show them a better way. If they are intimate, show them to repent.
If Tyrhand has not believed in Your Son Jesus Christ and His resurrection and has not called on His name, we pray that he will come to faith in You. Do not let eternal salvation be an obstacle that is overlooked.
If Tyrhand and his girlfriend are in courtship, please guide them towards a godly marriage that honors You. Help them to overcome the obstacles they face in a way that draws them closer to You. Give them the strength and wisdom to navigate through these challenges, always seeking Your will.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Tyrhand, we encourage you to seek God's face in all things. Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths. "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight" (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB).
