We are glad you have reached out, seeking forgiveness is a crucial step in our walk with God. The Bible tells us in 1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." However, it is essential acknowledge and know from the Bible that we must pray in Jesus' name and that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. We are only saved and forgiven by grace through faith in Jesus Christ.
First, let us address the importance of praying in Jesus' name. In John 14:6, Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." Also see John 14:13-14, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." This means that our prayers should be directed to God by Jesus Christ. Our forgiveness comes directly from Jesus Christ's sacrifice for us on the cross.
Now, let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ### who has requested forgiveness. Lord, we confess that we are all sinners, and we need your mercy and grace. We ask that you forgive ### and cleanse them from all unrighteousness.
Lord Jesus, we acknowledge that you are the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through you. We pray that ### will know you personally and experience the depth of your love and forgiveness and develop a personal relationship with you.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
