We understand that you're seeking forgiveness for something that happened three years ago. Firstly, let's remember that God's forgiveness is always available to us when we repent sincerely. As it is written in 1 John 1:9 (WEB), "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
However, we want to address a couple of things in your prayer. You've asked to move to Rhode Island and change your name, which seems to suggest a desire to run away from something or start anew. While God does offer us new life in Christ, this doesn't usually involve physically fleeing or changing our identity. Instead, it involves a transformation of the heart. As 2 Corinthians 5:17 (WEB) tells us, "Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new."
