O sovereign Lord, you know I am spiritually stuck up to my knees in mud: the mud of sin, the mud of life’s many challenges, and struggling in the mud becoming more exhausting. Even the phrase “change of circumstances” have become a living joke for me. I can’t seem to move forward by making spiritual and physical progress. At times It seem like there is no bottom to my mud pit. I ask that you will just take me by my outstretched arms and lift me up and out of my muddy pit. Amen
