(Preface: Though, like Jesus, I have been accused of striving with the preists; this entry, not directed toward all preists, is to warn against redundancy. God knows.)

LOVE Is A 2-Way Street
It so saddens me when some preists of the temple misuse 1 Corinthians 13 in a veiled attempt to diminish fellow servants of the Lord to "NOTHING;" strange. But God, in not allowing us to go out like that, also through the writings of The Apostle Paul, puts things in perspective. Paul helps us to understand that love, is indeed, a two-way street. And, just as the unloving church was hurtful to Jesus and Paul, it can likewise be hurtful to those of us who minister, outside the temple, today. Everything that Jesus was accused of, by preists, who did not know Him, has been spoken of me by preachers, who do not know me. In fact, the only time Temple Preists spoke about Jesus, or engaged Him in conversation was to discredit or rebuke Him; and so it has also been with me.
Take heed, as it was with Jesus, "THE PROPHET:" perhaps it's not the prophet who withholds love; but rather the prophet, from whom love is withheld. While Jesus' response to the preists was quite stern in Matthew 23, I will keep my response within the context of my own persecutions, that mirror The Apostle Paul's, for Christ's sake.
2 Corinthians 6: 3-13 3) We live in such a way that no one will stumble because of us, and no one will find fault with our ministry. 4) In everything we do, we show that we are true ministers of God. We patiently endure troubles and hardships and calamities of every kind. 5) We have been beaten, been put in prison, faced angry mobs, worked to exhaustion, endured sleepless nights, and gone without food. 6) We prove ourselves by our purity, our understanding, our patience, our kindness, by the Holy Spirit within us, and by our sincere love. 7) We faithfully preach the truth. God’s power is working in us. We use the weapons of righteousness in the right hand for attack and the left hand for defense. 8) We serve God whether people honor us or despise us, whether they slander us or praise us. We are honest, but they call us impostors. 9) We are ignored, even though we are well known. We live close to death, but we are still alive. We have been beaten, but we have not been killed. 10) Our hearts ache, but we always have joy. We are poor, but we give spiritual riches to others. We own nothing, and yet we have everything.
11) Oh, dear Corinthian friends! We have spoken honestly with you, and our hearts are open to you. 12) There is no lack of love on our part, but you have withheld your love from us. 13) I am asking you to respond as if you were my own children. Open your hearts to us!
Nevertheless, Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
Therefore, we persist, believing that: Hebrews 13:10 We have an altar from which the priests in the Tabernacle have no right to eat. Thank You LORD!

A prayer for Preists:
I pray in Jesus' name that God will strengthen you to . . .
I pray in Jesus' name that God will strengthen you to . . .
Care for the flock that God has entrusted to you. Watch over it willingly, not grudgingly—not for what you will get out of it, but because you are eager to serve God. Don’t lord it over the people assigned to your care, but lead them by your own good example. And when the Great Shepherd appears, you will receive a crown of never-ending glory and honor. Now may the God of peace, who brought up from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great Shepherd of the sheep, and ratified an eternal covenant with his blood, may he equip you with all you need for doing his will. May he produce in you, through the power of Jesus Christ, every good thing that is pleasing to Him. All glory to Him forever and ever!
Amen.
