We understand that you're going through a challenging time, and we're here to pray and provide guidance based on biblical principles.
Firstly, let's address your educational aspirations. It's commendable that you want to further your education, but remember that God's will is more important than our own. Let's pray for discernment and provision. Always put Jesus Christ as the focus of your life. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved.
Remember, the Bible tells us in Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB: "Trust in the Lord from all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, And he will make your paths straight."
Let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus to lift up this dear one who desires to further their education. Lord, you know the depths of their heart and the desires they have. We pray for your will to be done in their life. If it's your will for them to go to grad school, please provide a way where there seems to be no way. Help them to trust in you completely, and give them the wisdom and provision to pay off their loans.
Now, concerning the other issue, we need to address it with care and biblical guidance. It's important to note that the Bible teaches us to flee from sexual immorality and that God sees adultery and fornication and any activity leading up to it as a sin. It's also clear that we are to refrain from impure thoughts and images.
1 Corinthians 6:18 WEB: "Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body."
Matthew 5:28 WEB: "But I tell you, that everyone who looks at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart."
If you are in a relationship with this person, we encourage you to seek godly counsel and consider the biblical principles of relationships and marriage. What is happening in this person's mind can be reflected on what they are doing in their heart. It is really impossible to avoid hurting someone's feeling if you are in a romantic relationship with them and visualizing cheating on them. It would be better to take a step back and reexamine your relationship if this person is doing this. Remember, God calls us to purity and faithfulness.
Let's pray for guidance and healing:
Dear Lord,
We pray for this situation. God, you know the details and the pain involved. We pray for healing and a change of heart for both parties. Lord we cannot control this person's actions. We pray in Jesus name for this person's heart to change and for any ungodly desires to be replaced with pure thoughts. Help this person to understand the importance of purity and faithfulness. Lord, guide them in their relationship and help them to seek your will and make decisions that honor you.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
