We understand your disappointment and frustration, dear friend. It's disheartening when promises are not kept, especially when they involve our livelihood. Firstly, let's remember that our ultimate provider is God, not any company or person. As it says in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."
Before we pray, we want to remind you of the importance of acknowledging Jesus Christ in your requests. It's only through His name that we have access to God, and it's in His name that we are saved. As it's written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
Now, let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our friend who is awaiting a promise to be fulfilled. We pray that You, the faithful provider, will open the right doors for them. We pray for them.
But we also remember Jesus' words in Matthew 7:7-8, "Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened." We pray that You will guide our friend to ask, seek, and knock on the right doors, and that You will open them in Your perfect timing.
Give them peace and patience. We ask this in Jesus Christ's name, Amen.
In the meantime, stay steadfast in faith and continue to seek God's will for your life. Remember that God's timing is perfect, and He has a plan and a purpose for you. Psalm 32:8 says, "I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you."
