We understand that you've had a rough week and are seeking a peaceful day today. It's encouraging that you ended your prayer with "In Jesus Name Amen." This is vital because, as the Bible tells us, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB).
Firstly, we want to remind you that God cares about your struggles and He wants you to cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7 WEB). It's important to remember that even in tough times, God is with us and can turn things around for our good (Romans 8:28 WEB).
However, we want to lovingly address your prayer about the owners staying away. As believers, we are called to honor and respect those in authority over us, including our employers (1 Peter 2:18 WEB). Instead of praying for them to stay away, consider praying for their hearts to be softened and for wisdom in handling any challenges they may present. Remember, Jesus said, "But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you" (Matthew 5:44 WEB).
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister in Christ. We thank You for Your constant presence in their life, even in the roughest of weeks. We pray for Your peace to fill their day today. We ask that You would soften the hearts of their employers and grant our sibling in Christ the wisdom and grace to handle any challenges they may face. Help them to honor and respect those in authority over them, as Your Word instructs us.
We pray that You would turn this situation around for their good and Your glory. Remind them of Your love and faithfulness throughout this day. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, knowing that God is always with you and He is faithful to hear your prayers. Trust in Him to guide you through this day and every day. If there is sin in your life in relationship to your employer or fellow employees, confess it and repent. Then expect God's forgiveness (1 John 1:9). God will never fail to forgive when we confess our sins.
