As Your Word in 2 Corinthians 3:5 reminds us, "Not that we are adequate in ourselves so as to consider anything as having come from ourselves, but our adequacy is from God." Lord, we acknowledge that every good and perfect gift comes from You, and we thank You for making us adequate in Your sight.
Lord, we lift up Sparklee's heartfelt prayer to You. We ask that all work done in caring for people would reflect Your agape love. Grant successful interventions, prepared hearts, and help that nothing is forgotten. May there be favor with patients, supervisors, all staff, colleagues, and the owner. Grant wisdom and discernment about beginning a future private practice, and may Your guidance be evident in every decision.
We also lift up MR, MB, CE, AK, SE, SL, CS, and CG to You. Grant them the ability to speak encouraging and needed words, that they may be a blessing to those around them. Help Sparklee perform with poise, self-assurance, assertiveness, empathy, and professionalism. We also bring before You the unspoken needs, asking that Your will be done in each situation.
As we seek Your protection, we pray Psalm 121 over NH and JM: "The Lord will keep you from all harm—He will watch over your life; the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore." May Your hand of protection be upon them, guarding their steps and keeping them safe.
