Heavenly Father,
We come before You on behalf of Your beloved child, who is facing a challenging decision regarding participating in a wedding. Lord, You know the struggles of their heart—the desire to honor their friendships while also considering their personal limitations and commitments. We ask for Your divine guidance, clarity, and peace in this matter.
Lord, Your Word reminds us, *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight"* (Proverbs 3:5-6). May they trust You fully in this decision, leaning not on their fears or uncertainties but on Your wisdom.
Father, we ask for discernment, as Your Word says, *"If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you"* (James 1:5). Grant them the wisdom to weigh their priorities and the courage to communicate their decision in love, regardless of what it may be.
Help them, Lord, to find peace in their choice, knowing that *"The Lord gives strength to his people; the Lord blesses his people with peace"* (Psalm 29:11). May they experience Your peace, which transcends all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
If the decision is to attend and fulfill the role of a bridesmaid, grant them the grace, strength, and provision to manage their responsibilities joyfully. If they decide otherwise, bless them with the words to convey their decision kindly, maintaining the bonds of friendship. Teach them to live out Your call to *"Do everything in love"* (1 Corinthians 16:14), so their actions glorify You and foster understanding among all involved.
Above all, may this situation draw them closer to You, trusting that *"in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose"* (Romans 8:28).
We thank You, Lord, for hearing this prayer and for Your faithful presence in every decision they face. May Your will be done.
In Jesus' name,
Amen.
