Heavenly Father,
We come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up Geraldo who is struggling to find rest in Ireland. Your Word promises us peace and rest, as it is written in Psalm 4:8, "In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety." We ask that You grant Geraldo the rest that his body and mind so desperately need.
Lord, we also bring before You the concerns of Geraldo’s spouse, who is feeling tense and depressed. Your Word reminds us in Philippians 4:6-7, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds during this challenging time.
We trust in Your promises, Lord, and we believe that You are the ultimate healer and provider of peace. We ask that You intervene in Geraldo’s situation, that he may find restful sleep and that his spouse may find comfort and relief from anxiety and depression.
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
