Maintaining a clear mind requires us focusing on what is true, pure, noble and right as Philippians 4:8 WEB teaches. Whatever things are true, honest, just, pure, lovely, and of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things. A clear mind can often mean discerning and dealing with each issue one at a time and knowing not to be overwhelmed with the problems.
Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. This can ensure that there are fewer issues to be anxious about at work and elsewhere.
Regarding work, we are instructed to be principled and dedicated, working with integrity, as discussed in the words of the Apostle Paul in Colossians 3:23-24 WEB: Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
