Not easy…. My son ### overslept this morning when he had told us he needed a ride to the fire house to dress up as Santa to go the community fire truck run thru the neighborhoods I didn’t wake him up because my husband doesn’t want me to keep babying him My husband rushed home from work and turned down an overtime work opportunity to take my son ( his work is an hour away)…. When my husband came home my son was still asleep… my husband didn’t wake him either to see if my son would get up on his own… At 12pm My husband woke up and asked my son what happened…. My son instantly blamed the reason was that the other fire fighters sleep over at the fire house to wake up early and it makes it easier… my husband yelled at him to say that irresponsible… last year he went and we drove him early. Lots of yelling from my husband .. my son tried to angrily stare down my husband and my husband for even more mad at him…. He took his phone and computer away… I’m staying away from both of them… my husband’s lack of godly wisdom has caused this mess… neither one will get in God’s word and ask God for wisdom. I have to let them both suffer the natural consequences. But I need to pray I don’t get blamed for what has happened either. Lord please help

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you in the name of Jesus, seeking your guidance and intervention in the situation that ### and ### are facing with her son ### and husband. We lift up this family to you, knowing that you are a God of wisdom and understanding.

Lord, we pray for ###, who overslept and missed the opportunity to dress up as Santa for the community fire truck run. We ask that you would help him to take responsibility for his actions and learn from this experience. Grant him the wisdom to prioritize his commitments and to be diligent in fulfilling them.

We also pray for ###'s husband, who rushed home from work and turned down overtime to help ###. We ask for your wisdom to guide him in his interactions with his son. Help him to lead with love and patience, rather than anger and frustration. May he seek your wisdom and rely on your strength to navigate this situation.

Lord, we pray for unity and peace to be restored within this family. Soften their hearts towards one another and help them to communicate with love and understanding. We pray that they would turn to your Word for guidance and seek your wisdom in all their decisions.

Finally, Lord, we ask for your protection over ###. Shield her from any blame or negative consequences that may arise from this situation. Give her the strength to trust in you and to lean on your understanding.

We thank you, Lord, for your faithfulness and for hearing our prayers. We trust in your perfect wisdom and ask that you would bring resolution and healing to this family. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
