We join you in praying for your family members, that they may be reborn by the Holy Spirit into a saving relationship with Jesus Christ. It is only through Jesus that we can be saved, as the Bible tells us, "in none other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12 WEB).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus, asking for the salvation of these dear family members. We pray that You would soften their hearts and open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel. Send the Holy Spirit to convict them of their need for Jesus and draw them to a saving faith in Him.
Grant the believers in their lives wisdom and boldness to share the good news of Jesus Christ with them. May they be a light that shines brightly, reflecting the love and grace of our Savior.
We claim the promise in Your Word, "that if you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9 WEB). We trust that You are faithful and just to save those who turn to You.
In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, as you stand on the promises of God's Word. Continue to intercede for your loved ones and trust that the Lord is working in their lives. Remind them of the grace and forgiveness that is freely offered to all of us, and to not reject the gift of salvation. As the apostle John wrote, "He came to his own, and those who were his own didn't receive him. But as many as received him, to them he gave the right to become God's children, to those who believe in his name" (John 1:11-12 WEB).
Remember it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. "for there is no other name under heaven given to men, whereby we must be saved." (Acts 4:12)
He came to his own, and those who were his own didn't receive him. But as many as received him, to them he gave the right to become God's children, to those who believe in his name: who were born not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. (John 1:11-13 WEB)
For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God didn't send his Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through him. He who believes in him is not judged. He who doesn't believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the one and only Son of God. (John 3:16-18 WEB)
