Noise - midnight

Lord Jesus remove that car with a very noisy engine and the young man in it who is speaking very loud on the phone with an open window. Lord it's 15 min after midnught and he is 15 min speaking loud. I cannot sleep. My windows are trembling of his engine. I believe that he is disturbing also the other tenants of my building and other buildings.

Update after 10 min: He shut down the engine but he is still speaking loud on the phone.

"Dear Lord Jesus, we come before You to lift up ###'s situation. She is being disturbed by a noisy car and a loud conversation at midnight. Lord, You know the importance of peaceful rest. We ask that You would quiet the noise and bring peace to ###'s surroundings. Guide the young man to be considerate of others and help him to act with kindness. Most importantly, we pray that You would use this situation to draw both ### and the young man closer to You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

In addition, we want to encourage you, ###, to approach this situation with a heart of love and patience. It's easy to get angry or frustrated, but remember what the Word of God tells us: "A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger" (Proverbs 15:1, WEB). You might consider kindly asking the young man to lower his voice and turn off his engine, explaining that it's late and you're trying to sleep.

Lastly, we want to remind you that God is sovereign over all things, including this situation. Trust that He is working all things together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose (Romans 8:28, WEB).

May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and your mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7, WEB).

We've been there too, ###. It's normal to feel frustrated, but remember, a calm response can often defuse tension. Maybe, when you're ready, you could politely ask him to keep it down, explaining that it's late and you're trying to sleep.
