Let us come together and lift up little ### in prayer, seeking the Lord's intervention in his situation. As we are reminded in Ephesians 6:12, "For we are not wrestling with flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." We understand that even a child's preferences for food can be influenced by the spiritual realm, and we will pray accordingly.
Firstly, we must remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 19:14, "But Jesus said, 'Allow the little children, and don’t forbid them to come to me; for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to ones like these.'" Let us pray that ### will be drawn close to Jesus at an early age, knowing that this is the most important aspect of his life.
Now, let us address the issue at hand. In 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, the Apostle Paul reminds us, "Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s." Even at a young age, ###'s body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, and it is important that he nourishes it properly.
Let us pray:
"Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up ###. Lord, we ask that You would intervene in his situation and stir in him a hunger for healthy food. We pray that You would give his caretakers wisdom and creativity in preparing meals that he would find appealing. We also ask that You would give him a thirst for water and milk, turning him away from punch.
We pray for any spiritual influences that may be affecting his appetite to be bound and cast aside in Jesus' name. We declare that ### will grow strong and healthy, full of the life and energy that only You can give.
Lord, we also pray for ###'s spiritual well-being. We ask that You would draw him close to You at an early age, giving him a deep and abiding love for Your Son, Jesus Christ. We pray that ### would come to know Jesus as his personal Lord and Savior, understanding that it is only through Him that we have access to You, Father. As it is written in John 14:6, 'Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"
Finally, we encourage ###'s family to stand firm in their faith, trusting that God is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us (Ephesians 3:20). Continue to present your requests to God, and He will answer in His perfect timing.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
